Bayleigh Chase is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Memory Services Coordinator position. Our beautiful, gated community is located in Easton, MD.

Job Type: Full-Time

 

In this role, you will provide leadership and coordination of integrated, comprehensive, person-centered services and support for individuals living with dementia and their caregivers throughout all levels of living. You will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating programs and initiatives aligned with the Acts Memory Care mission, vision, and philosophy. You will work collaboratively across disciplines to ensure best practices and innovative care, services, and support for residents living with dementia and their caregivers and will contribute specialized expertise in supporting behavioral expressions and providing guidance to the interdisciplinary team. This role will also provide education and training on dementia-related topics to team members, families/caregivers, and residents. Specific focus areas will include, but are not limited to, specialized memory care innovation, brain health, behavioral intervention, psychosocial support, caregiver and family education, staff education and consultation, outreach activities, and implementation of dementia related programs, services, policies, and projects. This role will also provide memory care support to other local Acts communities within the region, as needed.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a behavioral sciences or healthcare related specialty (gerontology, psychology, social work, human services, nursing, or a related field)
  • Experience in social services, programming and engagement, memory care, support for behavioral expressions
  • Evidence of specialized training in dementia
  • Experience with training a variety of audiences (team members, caregivers/families, residents)
  • Two years of experience working in a leadership role within dementia related services

Pay Range

$24.50 - $37.50 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
