Matthews Glen is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Director of Assisted Living position.


In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative oversight and leadership for the day-to-day operations of our assisted living residences in accordance with company policies and procedures and State regulations. Directs the planning, implementing, and evaluation of the nursing care program for residents.


The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Current State license as Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred)
  • Minimum of three years' clinical and/or assisted living experience
  • Current or eligible for certification in CPR
  • In NC, an Assisted Living Administrator (ALA) license is required
  • Preceptor opportunities exist for RNs with ALF experience who are willing to commit to completing ALF licensure requirements.
