Matthews Glen is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Director of Security & Transportation position.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and directing the community's security and transportation operations. Provides departmental leadership to ensure the security, safety, and transportation services of the community are met through adequate oversight, appropriate staffing, and careful monitoring of all functions and equipment. Ensures proper maintenance and use of security systems, including but not limited to security cameras and the security tour verification system. Inspects all company vehicles on a regular basis to ensure compliance with preventative maintenance and standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained. Administers the staffing and payroll functions and ensures implementation of training programs for all security and transportation staff.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of five years law enforcement, security, emergency services, or transportation experience
  • CPR, AED, & first aid certification
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), with a minimum of one year passenger driving experience
